Steve Harvey Faces $60 Million Law Suit From Ex-Wife

Steve Harvey And Mary Shackelford

Steve Harvey's ex-wife Mary Lee Harvey has alleged he mentally tortured her in a new $60 million lawsuit.

As reportedly listed in the court documents, Shackelford is suing Harvey for child endangerment, torture, kidnapping, soul murder, conspiracy against rights, breach of contract and intentional infliction of emotional distress. In the documents she states that she has been suicidal and has had to heavily "self-medicate" in order to deal with her life following the divorce.

Harvey, who shares one son with Mary, is either laughing at the suit or scared out his mind.

In the document, which was filed not by a lawyer but by a "civil rights activist", Mary writes, "All was loss Mary L. Harvey was dead", the gossip site reports. "For what he's done to me, I want to see Steve Harvey behind bars".

In other words, Steve Harvey has (at least) 99 problems and Mary Shackleford IS one. She claims that during their marriage, which lasted from 1996 until their contentious divorce in 2005, she was allegedly subjected to "prolonged torture with the infliction of severe mental pain and suffering".

The unusual lawsuit demands $60M from Harvey due to emotional and physical trauma after "losing her son, businesses and the joy of having a Mother's Day".

After Harvey and Vaughn's tumultuous divorce was settled in 2005, the Family Feud host struck up a relationship with his current wife, Marjorie Elaine Harvey, whom he married in 2007.

Steve Harvey's ex-wife has reportedly filed a $60 million lawsuit against the TV host, barely a month after publicly blasting him for trying to ruin her.

Undeterred by the court's ruling in Harvey's favour regarding their son, Shackelford delivered a stern message to her ex-husband in a set of YouTube videos posted in April.

A rep for Harvey did not immediately return a request for comment.
