Judge declares Prince's six siblings the heirs to his estate

Prince's six siblings are heirs to his estate

Carver County District Judge Kevin Eide revealed the decision on Friday, making the late music icon's sister, Tyka Nelson, and his five half-siblings official heirs, the Associated Press reports.

Prince was a sworn foe of music industry conventions and in the mid-1990s wrote "slave" on his cheek and changed his name to an unpronounceable symbol after Warner tried to control his prodigious output.

Eide also said none of Prince's assets can be distributed without a court order, nor in any way that might adversely affect any of the appeals.

Good news for Prince's loved ones. More than 45 people have already had their claims rejected by the court, including a woman claiming to have secretly Wednesday the Purple One years ago in Vegas and a convict in Colorado claiming to be his son. An autopsy later determined that he died from an accidental fentanyl overdose, which he "self-administered". Eide ruled that he will consider rejected claimants should they be sent back to him by appellate courts.

Anthony Weiner to plead guilty to sexting with a 15 year old
Trump and other Republicans accused her of endangering national security by exposing classified information to potential hacking. In a plea agreement with prosecutors, he agreed not to appeal any sentence between 21 and 27 months in prison.

Lawyers for the siblings named heirs argued that waiting another year would impede their ability to properly manage his estate.

The court on Friday also called on L. Londell McMillan to turn over Prince business agreements to the estate administrator. Bremer stepped aside earlier this year and Prince's heirs have squabbled over the estate's advisers.

Prince died suddenly a year ago age 57, at his Paisley Park estate, from an accidental overdose of powerful painkillers. The six-song EP "Deliverance" had been scheduled to be released on the first anniversary of Prince's death.
