First Warning Forecast: Tracking scattered showers and storms Friday evening

Rain expected to slow the Monday commute

At this point, not expecting a washout or widespread severe weather but certainly something to monitor. The risk across most of northwest Oklahoma, including the Enid area, is high Thursday. You may hear a few rumbles of thunder, but severe weather would not be expected then.

FRIDAY: Another warm day with isolated to scattered showers and storms again possible in the afternoon. As for the storm chance, it will be isolated this morning with chances increasing this afternoon. North winds 10 to 15 miles per hour.

DAY: Cloudy with showers likely. Temperatures are in the lower 90s for many! High near 79. South wind around 5 miles per hour. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
