Jeremy Corbyn vows to tackle 'rigged system' in battle with 'Establishment'

21 April 2017, 02:28 | Taylor George

Conservative Prime Minister Theresa May unexpectedly called the general election three years ahead of schedule in a bid to capitalise on Labour's internal divisions and dwindling support.

The newspaper published a sensationalist piece on its website claiming that Corbyn's son Seb is "preparing to mount a campaign to replace his father's political aide Steve Rotheram".

His personal reservations about European Union were known, but the party's continuing vagueness is likely to lead voters to other parties that have a clearer stand.

"The British people know that they are the true wealth creators, held back by a system rigged for the wealth extractors".

"Two other party sources confirmed that both Seb Corbyn and Ms Clark's names have been touted as candidates for seats".

"This is yet more evidence of chaos from Jeremy Corbyn and Labour", he said. Butler said that Labour would make sure that businesses such as "Costa Coffee, etc, who don't pay their taxes" do pay their taxes.

During First Minister's Questions at Holyrood, Ms Sturgeon said Labour now had so little support across the United Kingdom that such a deal would not be possible as it would not have enough seats.

But Corbyn said the debate should not be about Brexit but about the battle between "the Conservatives, the party of privilege and the richest, versus the Labour party, the party that is standing up for working people".

The Party has been facing the hard task of securing votes from those who did not vote for Brexit in last year's referendum.

Russian Federation vetoes United Nations statement on North Korea's missile tests
North Korea will continue to test missiles on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis, Vice Foreign Minister Han Song-ryol said. Soon after Trump took office, he pulled the US out of the TPP - which needed all the signatory nations to ratify the deal.

"We will be laying out all our policies, including on Brexit, in further detail in the coming weeks and next month in our manifesto".

Mr Corbyn said the likes of business tycoons Sir Philip Green and Mike Ashley were monopolising money that should be shared by everyone.

"Instead of the country's wealth being hidden in tax havens, we will put it in the hand of the people", he said.

"It is wealth that should belong to the majority and not the tiny minority".

"They say I don't play by the rules - their rules".

Jeremy Corbyn today launched a stinging attack on the City as he pledged radical action to stop Britain's wealthy from "leeching off" workers on low pay.

This is further ahead of Labour than at any point in nearly a decade, and during Mr Corbyn's leadership.

He said the election was fight between the "wealthy ruling Conservatives" versus Labour and the people, adding that he wanted to give preference to the majority's interests.

Answering questions, Mr Corbyn said Labour's manifesto would be "fully costed and will be all accounted for and paid for".
