Cavs fade, rally, lead series 2-0

Love scored 27 on only seven field goal attempts, going a ideal 12-for-12 at the free throw line. Seeing James take his foot off the gas in the fourth isn't weird since Kyrie Irving's on his side, but the ever-reliable Uncle Drew has been anything but.

At one point in the third quarter, amidst all of the free throws, Love tapped in a James missed three, sprinted down the floor, and got a charge called on Kevin Seraphin as he barreled into Love.

3-Point Goals: 13-31, .419 (Irving 4-10, Love 3-4, Dero.Williams 3-4, Shumpert 1-2, Smith 1-2, Frye 1-3, R.Jefferson 0-1, James 0-2, Korver 0-3). A series of missed free throws resulted for the Cavs' lead to be narrowed while Pacers shooting guard, Lance Stephenson nearly made every shot he attempted on the fourth quarter. His frustration likely runs deeper than two road losses in a first-round series against the defending champs. Jeff Teague scored 23 from the point guard spot, though he was minus-14 in the starting role against Irving.

But in this case, it was a combination of the opponent's scheme and Love being more assertive on his part.

Turner acknowledged he must get more physical in this series, and Stephenson said he needs to find the balance between passion and playing out of control.

Love did just that and McMillan may have regretted the gameplan afterwards. "I never do. Sometimes players just say things differently than coaches", George said. "We lost our poise and wasn't calm during that third quarter and that was big". "And I think we're right there on the cusp of doing that". They did a good job of recognizing that matchup, which they do. "I trust the guys on that floor, but I just thought - you know, I watched it kind of unravel - that's when I should have stepped in and demanded the ball a little bit more", he said. George has been spectacular, but it takes multiple players to come up big for a team to advance. He has played way too many minutes this season (and eventually that will catch up to him), and the set of role players this season just isn't the same as last year's championship team.

Barcelona and Real Madrid Regain Their Strength
Lucas fired over in trying to emulate Isco's earlier heroics but Madrid could not turn sustained pressure into a half-time lead. Yannick Carrasco and Thomas Partey both saw penalties saved in the dying embers of Saturday's routine 3-0 win over Osasuna .

At the very least, James had ample reason to feel good about the Cavs on the offensive end.

With the Cavs now holding a 3-0 lead, this series is all but over. "I think we get exhausted at times".

It sounds simple. The Cavs have one of the most talented rosters the National Basketball Association has ever seen. "My guys dug in that game and earned the right to be in that game, and they did not even give us a chance".

That question has plagued the Cavaliers for some time now, especially going back to January and March.

Touching on the familiar theme of "turning the switch on" come playoff time, James told reporters: 'We're right there of what we know can become'. "Everybody knows how close I am with my teammates and I said that only to motivate my teammates to win this series and win a championship".

In two playoff games, he has played in 85 of 96 possible game minutes, for an absurd average of 42.5 minutes a game.
