Court: Dad accused of killing baby daughter, driving body to Mercer County pleads guilty

The 28-year-old boxer from Cincinnati was stopped Thursday after reports of shots fired.

More trouble for boxing star Adrien Broner. who was arrested in Kentucky early Thursday morning after Covington PD officers pulled over his white SUV, which had several bullet holes in it.

Police said that the rented SUV in which Broner was riding had bullet holes.

Broner was charged in December 2014 with alcohol intoxication in a public place and disorderly conduct, court records show.

Cincinnati officers believe Broner was involved in a fight at G-Moni bar on Queen City Avenue in South Fairmont, and Broner's vehicle was shot in the altercation, Saunders said.

As they approached West McMillan Street, the suspect fired several rounds, striking his vehicle approximately eight times, according to Broner's account to police. Ten 9mm shell casings were later found around the site of the shooting, police said.

Only last summer, "The Problem" as he is aptly nicknamed, was released after serving a month in prison stemming from behavior surrounding an assault and robbery charge, which were later dismissed. Broner, 27, is scheduled for a court appearance on April 27.

Broner was arrested in January 2016 over the alleged confrontation in the Madison Bowl parking lot.
