Apple Preps to Release First Products of 2017

21 March 2017, 06:28 | Kevin Scott

Most recently, a report suggested that the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models will be upgraded this year with under-the-hood speed enhancements. The online Apple Store will go down at 3:00 am and remain under maintenance until 8:30 am.

But on the other hand, Samsung is launching its latest and greatest on March 29th, and releasing a new handset at the same time would be a classically trolly move from Apple.

According to a recent report, Apple is planning to launch its new iPads at an event in early April.

Apple unveils a new version of macOS every year at WWDC, so the company will probably unveil the next version of MacOS (10.13) at WWDC this year. Citing "reputable supply chain analysts" as sources, the publication stated that unveiling of the new Apple products could happen between March 20 and 24.

As MacRumors spotted, Apple's system status page now shows that the Apple Store will be down tomorrow morning from 3.00AM to 8.30AM. If the news has any weight to it then we will find out shortly what the company has in store for users.

Mac Otakara said the 10.5-inch-will have the same overall footprint as the current 9.7-inch iPad Pro thanks to its edge-to-edge design. Both the 12.9-inch and 10.5 inch iPad models are said to come with a new A10X processor. Knowing that Apple has one of the largest fan bases in the tech industry, it's easy to understand why there so many rumors and speculations about the upcoming iPad Pro 2 lineup are popping up. This might be the more likely of the new releases, if Apple is keeping to form - the company last updated its iPad line exactly a year ago from tomorrow's date.

The maintenance, which means the Apple store will be "updated and unavailable", will take place between midnight and 5:30 a.m.

Elsewhere, the iPhone SE could get a 128GB storage option, while the iPhone 7 may get a red color option. However, it is possible that the company could possibly release new products. Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
