Adele has missed out on some of the celebrity spotlight in Australia, thanks to one Justin Bieber, she says.

A concertgoer surprises everyone by proposing to his boyfriend after being invited up onto the stage by Adele.

The final show of Adele's 2017 Australian tour featured a stack of the singer's biggest hits, but also an especially big moment for one man, who popped a surprise proposal on Adele's stage during the show. In what Adele promised was an unplanned move, Wade proposed to Chris.

On our recent list of the most lovely sites to get engaged, it seems that we forgot a super popular place to pop the question: Adele concerts!

Chris said yes, of course, and the crowd went absolutely wild.

Another man at one of her London shows also made the mother of his child his new fiancee as Adele performed Make You Feel My Love, which they subsequently revealed was a special tune for the couple.

Little did she know that the gesture would cause a heart-stopping moment for the couple - and the crowd - when Wade asked Chris to marry him in front of the packed Etihad Stadium.

"Give me a beat", she told her band before bending down to a fan and whipping her hair.

"If I see one more person being told to sit down, I swear to god", she said.

In Melbourne - the last leg of her tour - Adele started the show with the most fitting song possible, Hello.
