While, Mozambican emergency services say it fears more people could be displaced in that country following the destruction of tropical storm Dineo, back home, the South African Disaster Management Centre says the storm has had no impact yet and says it's just good rain.

Dineo was downgraded to a tropical depression by 08:00pm yesterday and renamed "ex-Dineo", according to SAWS, which warned that the weather system could still cause heavy rainfall and flooding as it heads inland toward South Africa. It is especially vulnerable after a major drought previous year as soils degraded or hardened by dry spells do not easily absorb water.

If need be, they could also respond to affected areas in Mpumalanga, Limpopo and even KZN.
