Michael Johnson Won't Coach At Michigan But Oregon Instead

Johnson most recently coached at The King's Academy in Sunnyvale, California, and just four days ago the school announced Johnson was joining Jim Harbaugh's staff at MI, where he was expected to be an analyst pending the NCAA's discussion this spring of adding a 10th full-time assistant coach. Thirdly, Johnson has a ton of NCAA coaching experience - most recently as UCLA's offensive coordinator and interim head coach in 2011 - so it's not like he has nothing else to offer besides his son.

Harbaugh called Finebaum "Pete" instead of "Paul", though that may have been intentional.

"He is an evil genius", Finebaum said. It's blatantly disregarding the spirit of the NCAA rules.

Harbaugh misidentified Finebaum (either unintentionally or on purpose) as "Pete", and accused the former Birmingham columnist and radio host of being "the unabashed SEC water carrier". - Finebaum, and in true Jim Harbaugh fashion, he's letting us all know about it. Why don't we just face up to it?

Indonesian suspect in Kim Jong Nam death 'very timid', 'kept to herself'
Calling Kim a "cheerful" man who "mingled easily", the friend added that he also had the knack for helping many people out. Police refused to elaborate when asked by correspondents from the JoongAng Ilbo, an affiliate of the Korea JoongAng Daily.

The university and Harbaugh hadn't made the announcement official, but with the NCAA expected to pass a proposal in April to allow teams to hire a 10th assistant coach, it appeared Johnson would be the new member of Michigan's staff. There's no other reason why he would hire this man.

The 49-year-old Johnson is expected to replace Jimmie Dougherty (another former MI staffer), who left earlier this month to become the passing game coordinator at UCLA.

Finebaum has been critical of Harbaugh on a number of occasions during his tenure as MI coach, which will be entering its third season this fall.

MI had never confirmed the Johnson hire.
