Lima Senior to host American Red Cross Blood Drive

In Marshall, Holy Family Parish on South Beebe Street will hold a community blood drive on March 7 from 1 to 6 p.m.

The release states every USA president has declared March as Red Cross Month since 1943.

Lima Senior High School will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive from 8:30 a.m.to 2:30 p.m. February 23 in the school's auxiliary gymnasium. A blood donor card or driver's license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Students must be 17 years of age to donate. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger may also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.

Donors are encouraged to make appointments and complete the RapidPass online health history questionnaire at redcrossblood.org/rapidpass to save time when donating.

The teen, who has been increasingly active within the community even following his diagnosis, aims to reach the 100th donation made in his name at the upcoming blood drive.

It's the third blood drive in Kokomo given in Gradyn's name, and the second sponsored by the American Red Cross.
