In Marshall, Holy Family Parish on South Beebe Street will hold a community blood drive on March 7 from 1 to 6 p.m.

The release states every USA president has declared March as Red Cross Month since 1943.

While the need for blood is constant, the number of donors decreases when the temperatures fall. "If it had not been for blood donors, she might not have survived", he said.

"I always donate blood".

The Red Cross depends on blood donor heroes across the nation to collect enough blood to meet the needs of patients at approximately 2,600 hospitals nationwide. Donors with all blood types are now needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients.

The American Red Cross is asking for blood and platelet donors to make a donation appointment.

The case is linked to a scandal that led to the impeachment of the country's President Park Geung-hye, BCC reported on Friday. The prosecutors also brought up accusations on Lee of hiding assets overseas and concealing profit gained from criminal acts.

The public is of course invited to participate in the blood drive at the high school.

Lima Senior High School will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive from 8:30 a.m.to 2:30 p.m. February 23 in the school's auxiliary gymnasium. A blood donor card or driver's license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Students must be 17 years of age to donate. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger may also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.

Donors are encouraged to make appointments and complete the RapidPass online health history questionnaire at redcrossblood.org/rapidpass to save time when donating.

The teen, who has been increasingly active within the community even following his diagnosis, aims to reach the 100th donation made in his name at the upcoming blood drive.

It's the third blood drive in Kokomo given in Gradyn's name, and the second sponsored by the American Red Cross.
