Jose Mourinho's Manchester United return to Europa League action on Thursday when they host French outfit Saint-Etienne at Old Trafford.

United manager Jose Mourinho had no complaints with the comfortable victory but warned his players against complacency ahead of next week' return leg, "It wasn't the flawless game because we still lost the ball too often but it was better".

"I had the feeling immediately in the dressing room: too noisy, too amusing, too relaxed", he told reporters. "Too noisy. Too amusing. Too relaxed. My assistants had the feeling in the warm-up, some of the guys were not really focussed and not having the right adrenalin in their bodies". Even myself on the touchline, it was hard to communicate. We were lucky to be winning at half-time.

Saint-Etienne continued to trouble United on the counter attack in the second half, especially with the introduction of Nolan Roux in the 65th minute.

This evening's Europa League last-32 first leg against St Etienne kicks off a frantic 11-day period as the second leg in France comes after an FA Cup tie at Blackburn and is followed by the small matter of the EFL Cup final against Southampton.

For that reason, Mourinho is set to play a strong team against Saint-Etienne at Old Trafford, in a competition that offers the victor an automatic place in next season's Champions League.

Conte Confirms Solanke Wants To Leave
Solanke, an England Under-21 global , has also been the subject of much interest from Celtic but it seems as though Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has won the race to sign him.

With United still in all three cup competitions and involved in a fierce race for Champions League qualification domestically there should be plenty of opportunities for Rashford to impress.

"Every time I've played against Saint-Etienne, with hard work there has been a couple of goals", said the former Paris Saint-Germain striker.

Mourinho claimed he would not be tempted to rest too many players in Saint Etienne.

The 35-year-old has lived up to the hype since arriving at Old Trafford in the summer and took his goal tally to 23 in all competitions on Thursday. If we progress in the competitions we will be in trouble in May. We created chances and I got the three goals, so thanks to my team-mates.

'One thing was the football I wanted my Chelsea to play and the other thing I want my Manchester United to play'.
